When you visit a beauty salon, this is what many go there for, to have their hair done. The sty of service will vary according to the salon you visit. It can range from budget hair care to pampering. If you visit one with budget prices normally will have a no frills, basic environment. They may or may not take appointments for simple styles and haircuts. If you want an elaborate or complicated hairstyle, coloring, or a perm you may have to make an appointment because these can take time to do. Expensive, trendy hair salons are usually has décor that is ultra-stylish. They will pamper their clients with extra services like providing snacks and herbal teas.

Day spa salons

When you visit day salons, your time there could be all day or half day. For all day services, they may serve you a light lunch. Some of the services you might receive at a day salon can include skin care treatments, facials, and massages. There are some that offer specialties like mud baths or aromatherapy. Some will even offer esthetic services like hair removal that can include waxing and laser treatments. These salons may be in the same building as a luxury hotel and offer the guest a special discount.

Skin care salons

Although day spa salons offer facials this type of salon pampers the skin. When they do a facial, they may use a moisturizing cream mask that will leave your skin feeling refreshed after it dries and is removed. Skin care salons often include pedicures and manicures. When you get a pedicure, they will care for your fee such as trimming your toenails and painting them along with moisturizing your feet to make them feel soft. With manicures they will also soften your hands and paint your fingernails.They may even offer nail services that include creative decorations for your toenails and fingernails and artificial nails.

Tanning salons

This salon is for people that like to stay tan year-round. Some tanning salons have tanning beds that have the option to produce different depths and shades of tan to suit the client's preferences, eye color, and skin tones. When visiting tanning salons they have tanning beds to lie down on and some even have a stand-up method, which is what you would use if you want a spray-on tan. In most salons, they also offer lotions and creams that produce a tanned look.
